Solid State Infrared Shutter technology allows for occupant tracking while using a single PIR sensor. A battery operated low-power sensor that can provide reliable human occupant tracking without the need of camera or infra-red array sensors.

LOW-POWER EDGE AI TRAINING

Solid-state IR Shutter
We offer our proprietary PIRvision Lens polymer dispersed liquid crystal IR shutter which modulates IR signal from human occupants to detect and track stationary occupancy. This module is ultra-low power, privacy preserving and has a small volume of 50mm x 50mm x 25mm. While solid-state IR shutter lies at the core of our innovation, it needs our proprietary on-device occupancy learning algorithm to prove its usefulness as a feature rich technology.
Evaluation Sensor
We offer PIRvision Lens Evaluation Sensor which includes our proprietary solid-state IR shutter module, industry standard PIR sensors, Ambiq Apollo 3 SoC for on-device learning, and a battery that can last up to 1 year. The sensor dimensions are 112mm x 75mm x 25mm. This solution is an ideal prototype for our customers to deploy the solid-state IR shutter at their premises and evaluate the capabilities of our technology. The evaluation sensor is capable of UART/Bluetooth communication, detection parameters tweaking and data-logging.
